Final Fantasy XIII + COMMISSIONS

Yes everyone, I'm alive. I just logged 24 straight hrs on Final Fantasy XIII. I was drooling some much while playing this, but I know a lot of people have been talking a lot about this & whether to buy it. You should & I will tell you why.

First it's availiable for the PS3 & 360, & from Square Enix, the best RPG company known to MAN. Another thing is that the graphics are BEAUTIFUL...well they are for the PS3(I'm a PS3 onwer). The gameplay is simple & easy to learn. The new battle system is made for real-time, so expect the battles to be fast, plus the system is set to have you think fast & be on your toes. If you're not prepared, mainly for the sub-boss & boss fights, then that's your ass. But don't fear the "RETRY" allow you to play that battle over again, so that's a plus for me, especially when obtaining the Eidolons (Summons). Another thing is that there's no random encounters, so your enemies would be right there on the map waiting for you.

Next thing to talk about are the Roles & the Paradigms. The Roles, are basically Job Classes. There are only six of them, but it's ok cause they all have different set of skills & abilities, & to get the best of them for battle are to spend CP to upgrade your Crystarium, which is similar to FFX's Sphere Grid. Another way is utilizing to Paradigms, which you can call the Team Formation. By combining the Roles, a new formation can be made to help you in better. The plus for this is that you can make Six Paradigms, & switch between them all at anytime in battle doing a Pardigm Shifts. Timing Paradigm Shifts correctly can fill the ATB gauges, making switching frequently in battle an advantage.

Now my last point is that there are no "towns", so no exploring for everyone. Sorry to dissapoint, but since the characters are FUGITIVES(l'Cie) it wouldn't make since to go parading in towns. Once again no crying, cause everything that would be in the towns are now at your "Save Station", your savepoint, shops, & upgrade spot all in ONE area.

So this would be the end of my ridiciously long review of the game, now I'm just going to return to my cave & contiue playing FFXIII.
